Liadh Ní Riada MEP visited the school today to present our third class pupils with an 'National Quality Label' for their work on the eTwinning project 'Celtic Cousins'. Liadh spoke about her job as an MEP and pupils from 2nd to 6th had an opportunity to ask her many questions. Second class had eTwinning partners in Brittany, France during the 2014-2015 school year. They sent cards and Skyped one another in Breton, Irish and English. They compared the Celtic languages Breton and Irish. They wrote a story together; 'The Standing Stone'. Click on the ebook below to read it!
