One of our pupils, Oisín in fifth class, has a great interest in politics. He created an informative presentation for the middle and senior classes on the upcoming local and European elections. A letter he wrote on gender imbalance in politics was recently published in the Irish Examiner. He is organizing a visit from Blarney's local electoral candidates to our school on Monday. He has made such an impression on local candidate, Damien Boylan, that Oisín has been given the opportunity to meet our Taoiseach today! Watch the video below as Oisín receives the news.
